Our journey holds tales of triumph, courage, and strength. Surviving ovarian and breast cancer, we’re intimately familiar with this unyielding fight. Being BRCA1 positive makes cancer feel ever-present, but we stand firm against the unknown.
Championing the Cause
We’re not just sitting on the sidelines. I am an active member of the Run for Ovarian Cancer committee; The yearly London Run isn’t just an event; it’s proof of our determination to outpace cancer. Meanwhile, my husband tackles the grueling 220 km Princess Margaret “Ride to Conquer Cancer,” a ride from Toronto to Niagara that underscores our dedication. And there’s more – we host the Cancer Chili Battle, a lively charity event featuring a Chili Cook-off, Silent Auction, and more.
